Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sous Les Arbres by Gaston La Touche was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2020. The price achieved of USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,031.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaston La Touche achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L’Entracte in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 149,957.16).

Die Arbeit Sous Les Arbres von Gaston La Touche kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.031,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden.
