Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction 19th Century and British Impressionist Art, which included the work La famille des faunes by Gaston La Touche. The price achieved of GBP 6,062.50 (€ 6,731.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaston La Touche achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L’Entracte in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 149,957.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion 19th Century and British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La famille des faunes von Gaston La Touche zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.062,50 (€ 6.731,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaston La Touche erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L’Entracte im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 149.957,16).
