Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Au fond de la memoire de l'âme" by Gao Xingjian. The price achieved of SEK 46,000.00 (€ 4,398.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Xingjian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work By the Lake in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 57,881.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Au fond de la memoire de l'âme" von Gao Xingjian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 46.000,00 (€ 4.398,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Xingjian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit By the Lake im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 57.881,92).
