This artwork by Fritz Glarner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Relational Painting Tondo No. 28 sold for USD 350,000.00 (€ 309,105.36) - well above the upper estimate of USD 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fritz Glarner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Relational Painting Tondo No. 35, which sold at auction in February 2013 for GBP 601,250.00 (€ 698,385.96).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fritz Glarner erzielte im November 2018 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Relational Painting Tondo No. 28 für USD 350.000,00 (€ 309.105,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fritz Glarner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Relational Painting Tondo No. 35 beobachtet, die im Februar 2013 für GBP 601.250,00 (€ 698.385,96) versteigert wurde.
