Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Fritz Glarner could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Color Drawing for Relational Painting changed hands for USD 1,260.00 (€ 1,063.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fritz Glarner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Relational Painting Tondo No. 35 in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 601,250.00 (€ 698,385.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fritz Glarner konnte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Color Drawing for Relational Painting für USD 1.260,00 (€ 1.063,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fritz Glarner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Relational Painting Tondo No. 35 im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 601.250,00 (€ 698.385,96).
