In February 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work I Was A Sharp Well Defined Shape, But Only A Shadow by Fred Eerdekens. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,141.14), 35% above the upper estimate. Other works by Fred Eerdekens have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,177.77) in October 2010 for the work A Very Short Story With A Lot Of Fiction In The Middle And Something.

Im Februar 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit I Was A Sharp Well Defined Shape, But Only A Shadow von Fred Eerdekens zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.141,14) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Fred Eerdekens haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 20.177,77) im Oktober 2010 für die Arbeit A Very Short Story With A Lot Of Fiction In The Middle And Something beobachtet.
