Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Sheep And A Goat In A Country Landscape by François van Severdonck for USD 1,314.50 (€ 1,055.65). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by François van Severdonck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 9,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sheep And A Goat In A Country Landscape von François van Severdonck für USD 1.314,50 (€ 1.055,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00.
