In March 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries', which included the work In The Pasture by François van Severdonck. The result of EUR 3,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by François van Severdonck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture, which sold at auction in April 2008 for EUR 9,250.00.

Im März 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries' durch, in der auch die Arbeit In The Pasture von François van Severdonck zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von François van Severdonck mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture beobachtet, die im April 2008 für EUR 9.250,00 versteigert wurde.
