Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Poultry Near A Stream by François van Severdonck for EUR 1,800.00. This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by François van Severdonck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 9,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Poultry Near A Stream von François van Severdonck für EUR 1.800,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François van Severdonck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.250,00.
