The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by François van Severdonck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture, which sold at auction in April 2008 for EUR 9,250.00.
