Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by François van Severdonck could be acquired at Christies in London in April 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Masters & 19th Century Art auction, the work Sheep and ducks changed hands for GBP 625.00 (€ 703.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François van Severdonck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 9,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von François van Severdonck konnte im April 2011 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art wechselte die Arbeit Sheep and ducks für GBP 625,00 (€ 703,86) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François van Severdonck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.250,00.
