In June this year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Landschaft mit der Blumensonne by Franz Radziwill. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,324.81), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Franz Radziwill have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gespräch über einen Paragraphen in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 356,240.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landschaft mit der Blumensonne von Franz Radziwill zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.324,81) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Radziwill auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gespräch über einen Paragraphen im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 356.240,00.
