Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Guifà e la Beretta Rossa by Frank Stella was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Christies in New York in November 2005. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,089.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Stella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Point Of Pines in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 28,082,500.00 (€ 25,188,357.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Guifà e la Beretta Rossa von Frank Stella wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.089,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Stella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Point Of Pines im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.082.500,00 (€ 25.188.357,70).
