Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Hotel Terminus by Francis Ruyter. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,349.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francis Ruyter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work City of Women in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 42,000.00 (€ 31,746.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hotel Terminus von Francis Ruyter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.349,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francis Ruyter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit City of Women im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.000,00 (€ 31.746,03).
