In the First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Still Life with Squash sold for USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,596.41) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Forrest Bess have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled No. 6 in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 112,900.00 (€ 83,921.80).

In der Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Still Life with Squash für USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.596,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Forrest Bess auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled No. 6 im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.900,00 (€ 83.921,80).
