This work without title by Forrest Bess was worth USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,552.82) to a buyer in February 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Living With Art at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Forrest Bess have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled No. 6 in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 112,900.00 (€ 83,921.80).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Living With Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Forrest Bess auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled No. 6 im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.900,00 (€ 83.921,80).
