This artwork by Floris Verster achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2007. In the 19th Century EuropeanArt auction, the work Poppies sold for EUR 14,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Floris Verster - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch A Still Life With Marigold And Delphinium In A Bowl, which sold at auction in April 2009 for EUR 42,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Floris Verster erzielte im April 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century EuropeanArt wurde die Arbeit Poppies für EUR 14.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Floris Verster mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch A Still Life With Marigold And Delphinium In A Bowl beobachtet, die im April 2009 für EUR 42.750,00 versteigert wurde.
