This artwork by Floris Verster achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2013. In the Impressionist and Modern Art auction, the work Chrysanten sold for EUR 35,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Floris Verster; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dutch A Still Life With Marigold And Delphinium In A Bowl sold at auction in April 2009 with the realized price of EUR 42,750.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Floris Verster erzielte im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Chrysanten für EUR 35.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Floris Verster; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Dutch A Still Life With Marigold And Delphinium In A Bowl im April 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 42.750,00.
