The work Ali Underwater by Flip Schulke was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,900.00 (€ 19,025.57), 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Flip Schulke - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Muhammad Ali Boxing Underwater, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,038.05).

Die Arbeit Ali Underwater von Flip Schulke wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 19.025,57) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Flip Schulke mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Muhammad Ali Boxing Underwater beobachtet, die im November 2008 für GBP 37.250,00 (€ 45.038,05) versteigert wurde.
