A top price for Flip Schulke
When the work Muhammad Ali Boxing Underwater by Flip Schulke was auctioned at Phillips in London in November 2008, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 8,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,038.05). This high result makes Muhammad Ali Boxing Underwater the most expensive artwork by Flip Schulke that we have observed at auctions so far.
