Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work President-Elect John F. Kennedy, a Face in the Crowd at the Orange Bowl Game, Miami by Flip Schulke was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,422.41). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Flip Schulke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Muhammad Ali Boxing Underwater in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,038.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit President-Elect John F. Kennedy, a Face in the Crowd at the Orange Bowl Game, Miami von Flip Schulke kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.560,00 (€ 2.422,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Flip Schulke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Muhammad Ali Boxing Underwater im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 45.038,05).
