Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude Standing by Fiona Banner was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,685.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fiona Banner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Beagle Punctuation, which sold at auction in February 2015 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 27,577.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nude Standing von Fiona Banner kam im September 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.685,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fiona Banner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Beagle Punctuation beobachtet, die im Februar 2015 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 27.577,03) versteigert wurde.
