In April 2017 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Don't Look Back by Fiona Banner. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,859.43), 63% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Fiona Banner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Beagle Punctuation in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 27,577.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im April 2017 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Don't Look Back von Fiona Banner zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.859,43) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fiona Banner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Beagle Punctuation im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 27.577,03).
