Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work The window by Ferdinand Schirren for EUR 1,875.00. This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ferdinand Schirren have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Femme devant la glace in October this year with an auction result of EUR 10,710.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The window von Ferdinand Schirren für EUR 1.875,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ferdinand Schirren auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Femme devant la glace im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.710,00.
