Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Chinese Portrait Series No. 13 by Feng Zhengjie. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,352.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Zhengjie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,887,500.00 (€ 237,966.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series No. 13 von Feng Zhengjie zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.352,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Zhengjie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.887.500,00 (€ 237.966,50).
