Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown Journey, 1957 by Fan Ho was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2019. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,347.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fan Ho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Approaching Shadow, 1954 in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 39,340.73).

Die Arbeit Unknown Journey, 1957 von Fan Ho kam im April 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.347,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fan Ho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Approaching Shadow, 1954 im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 39.340,73).
