This work without title by Eva Hesse was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. It achieved a price of USD 93,750.00 (€ 79,361.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eva Hesse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No title in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 3,980,000.00 (€ 3,569,826.89).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Eva Hesse wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 79.361,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eva Hesse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No title im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.980.000,00 (€ 3.569.826,89).
