Auction result well in line with expectations
The work No title by Eva Hesse was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eva Hesse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No title in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 3,980,000.00 (€ 3,569,826.89).

Die Arbeit No title von Eva Hesse kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.529,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eva Hesse erzielen.
