Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eve With Her Arms Crossed by Euan Uglow was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2017. The price achieved of GBP 1,063.00 (€ 1,205.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Euan Uglow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Striding Nude, Blue Dress in March this year with an auction result of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 573,397.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eve With Her Arms Crossed von Euan Uglow kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.063,00 (€ 1.205,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Euan Uglow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Striding Nude, Blue Dress im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 573.397,35).
