Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Euan Uglow achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2019. In the The Jeremy Lancaster Collection auction, the work Love Fruit sold for GBP 162,500.00 (€ 188,488.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Euan Uglow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Striding Nude, Blue Dress, which sold at auction in March this year for GBP 504,000.00 (€ 573,397.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Euan Uglow erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Jeremy Lancaster Collection wurde die Arbeit Love Fruit für GBP 162.500,00 (€ 188.488,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Euan Uglow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Striding Nude, Blue Dress beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für GBP 504.000,00 (€ 573.397,35) versteigert wurde.
