Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still Life with Bottle, Apple and Jar by Euan Uglow was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 94,500.00 (€ 110,117.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Euan Uglow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Striding Nude, Blue Dress in March this year with an auction result of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 573,397.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still Life with Bottle, Apple and Jar von Euan Uglow kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 94.500,00 (€ 110.117,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Euan Uglow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Striding Nude, Blue Dress im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 573.397,35).
