Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nude With White Towel by Euan Uglow was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 81,900.00 (€ 90,308.06). Admittedly, works by Euan Uglow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Striding Nude, Blue Dress in March this year with an auction result of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 573,397.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nude With White Towel von Euan Uglow kam im September 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 81.900,00 (€ 90.308,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Euan Uglow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Striding Nude, Blue Dress im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 573.397,35).
