Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2017 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Erol Akyavas for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,095.43). This price was achieved in the auction Living with Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erol Akyavas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 99,650.00 (€ 114,677.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2017 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Erol Akyavas für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.095,43) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Living with Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erol Akyavas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 99.650,00 (€ 114.677,66).
