Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2012 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Erol Akyavas for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,863.99). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art / Turkish at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Erol Akyavas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 99,650.00 (€ 114,677.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2012 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Erol Akyavas für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.863,99) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art / Turkish bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erol Akyavas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 99.650,00 (€ 114.677,66).
