The work Turkish untitled by Erol Akyavas was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in April 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 87,882.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Erol Akyavas; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in April 2010 with the realized price of GBP 99,650.00 (€ 114,677.66).

Die Arbeit Turkish untitled von Erol Akyavas wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 87.882,94) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Erol Akyavas; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 99.650,00 (€ 114.677,66).
