This artwork by Erol Akyavas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2010. In the Contemporary Art/Turkish auction, the work without title sold for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,454.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Erol Akyavas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 99,650.00 (€ 114,677.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Erol Akyavas erzielte im April 2010 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art/Turkish wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.454,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erol Akyavas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 99.650,00 (€ 114.677,66).
