The work Turkishuntitled by Erol Akyavas was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,229.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. Admittedly, works by Erol Akyavas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 99,650.00 (€ 114,677.66).

Die Arbeit Turkishuntitled von Erol Akyavas kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.229,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erol Akyavas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 99.650,00 (€ 114.677,66).
