Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Erol Akyavas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2010. In the Contemporary Art/Turkish auction, the work without title sold for GBP 97,250.00 (€ 111,915.73) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 40,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Erol Akyavas; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in April 2010 with the realized price of GBP 99,650.00 (€ 114,677.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Erol Akyavas erzielte im April 2010 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art/Turkish wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 97.250,00 (€ 111.915,73) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 40.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Erol Akyavas; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 99.650,00 (€ 114.677,66).
