Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work An Offering Above The Clouds by Ernesto Caivano was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,624.27). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ernesto Caivano - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Birds and Waterfall (I-IV), which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 39,400.00 (€ 26,824.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit An Offering Above The Clouds von Ernesto Caivano kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.624,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ernesto Caivano mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Birds and Waterfall (I-IV) beobachtet, die im November 2007 für USD 39.400,00 (€ 26.824,62) versteigert wurde.
