This artwork by Ernesto Caivano achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in October 2021. In the No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition auction, the work Open Skull and Bloom sold for GBP 875.00 (€ 1,036.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernesto Caivano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Birds and Waterfall (I-IV) in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 39,400.00 (€ 26,824.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ernesto Caivano erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition wurde die Arbeit Open Skull and Bloom für GBP 875,00 (€ 1.036,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernesto Caivano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Birds and Waterfall (I-IV) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 39.400,00 (€ 26.824,62).
