Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Move the Crowd by Erik Parker was sold in the Post-War to Present auction at Christies in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 62,500.00 (€ 54,103.19). Admittedly, works by Erik Parker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Big Time in May last year with an auction result of HKD 3,654,000.00 (€ 433,808.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Move the Crowd von Erik Parker wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 62.500,00 (€ 54.103,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erik Parker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Big Time im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.654.000,00 (€ 433.808,22).
