Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Garden Prosperity China by Erica Hestu Wahyuni. It changed hands for a price of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,895.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 24,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Erica Hestu Wahyuni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Great Africa Safari in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 24,700.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Garden Prosperity China von Erica Hestu Wahyuni zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.895,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 24.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erica Hestu Wahyuni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Great Africa Safari im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 24.700,83).
