Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Panen Mas III (Golden Harvest III) by Erica Hestu Wahyuni for HKD 16,380.00 (€ 1,775.51). This price was achieved in the auction Eclectic at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erica Hestu Wahyuni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Great Africa Safari in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 24,700.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Panen Mas III (Golden Harvest III) von Erica Hestu Wahyuni für HKD 16.380,00 (€ 1.775,51) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Eclectic bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erica Hestu Wahyuni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Great Africa Safari im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 24.700,83).
