This artwork by Erica Hestu Wahyuni achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Christmas Forever In Love sold for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,851.39) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Erica Hestu Wahyuni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Great Africa Safari, which sold at auction in November 2010 for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 24,700.83).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Erica Hestu Wahyuni erzielte im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Christmas Forever In Love für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.851,39) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Erica Hestu Wahyuni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Great Africa Safari beobachtet, die im November 2010 für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 24.700,83) versteigert wurde.
