The work Prosperity Season by Erica Hestu Wahyuni was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,766.52), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Erica Hestu Wahyuni - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Great Africa Safari, which sold at auction in November 2010 for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 24,700.83).

Die Arbeit Prosperity Season von Erica Hestu Wahyuni wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.766,52) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Erica Hestu Wahyuni mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Great Africa Safari beobachtet, die im November 2010 für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 24.700,83) versteigert wurde.
