The work My Artistic Homeland by Erica Hestu Wahyuni was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. The result of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,728.74) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Erica Hestu Wahyuni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Great Africa Safari in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 24,700.83).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit My Artistic Homeland von Erica Hestu Wahyuni wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.728,74) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erica Hestu Wahyuni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Great Africa Safari im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 24.700,83).
