The auction ended at the price of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,740.56), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Erica Hestu Wahyuni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Great Africa Safari in November 2010 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 24,700.83).

Die Arbeit Wedding In Harmony von Erica Hestu Wahyuni wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.740,56) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 35.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erica Hestu Wahyuni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Great Africa Safari im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 24.700,83).
