This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Enrico Donati - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spaziale fiorito, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 867,000.00 (€ 768,140.34).
