The »bidding war« ended at EUR 118,750.00 48% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Enrico Donati have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spaziale fiorito in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 867,000.00 (€ 768,140.34).

Die Arbeit La medusa volante von Enrico Donati wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART Paris, Day Sale bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 118.750,00 und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Enrico Donati auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spaziale fiorito im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 867.000,00 (€ 768.140,34).
