Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Utile Verifica by Enrico Castellani was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Evening Auction auction at Sothebys in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 630,000.00 (€ 746,935.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Enrico Castellani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Superficie Bianca in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 3,778,500.00 (€ 4,824,598.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Utile Verifica von Enrico Castellani wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Evening Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 630.000,00 (€ 746.935,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Enrico Castellani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Superficie Bianca im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.778.500,00 (€ 4.824.598,68).
